Friday Night @ Banchetto Ortigas

Due to the husband's intense curiosity about the difference of Banchetto Pioneer and Banchetto Ortigas, we headed to Emerald Avenue after he picked me up at work last Friday.
Turning left from Julia Vargas, we didn't see it right away but we saw people carry taken-out food in plain white plastic bags.  So we thought, ok, it must be there, a bit farther, we don't see it but it's there.

Then we saw all these stalls.

The chaos, the many people, and the many kinds of food to select from.  It was very confusing what to eat!!!  They all appeared delectable.  Pizzas, pasta, barbecue, tacos, combo rice meals and many more!!

We wanted to walk and check all the stall from the start to the end when we saw this:

The crepe that almost everybody in the team were talking about when they went here.  And I can already agree, it's truly big!! I ordered mango-pre @ Php 55.

And the people behind my oh-so-big crepe:

the kuya making the crepe

this lady must be the owner

the reason why I waited too long, a lot are in queue!!

The crepe was delicious enough, not so creamy as I expected it but it was so-so! It was a lot better than the crepe I tried in the Mall of Asia the next day!! hahaha.

And this is what made the husband drool:

Beef Kebab!!

We loved the beef kebab, very tender and tasteful! :)

We also ate the little tacos put on an egg tray but I wasn't able to take a pic of that.  We munched them down while waiting for my crepe.  They're as small as siomai's and they too gave so much pleasure to my tastebuds!

There aren't enough seats but that doesn't prevent people from eating there.  People can be seen sitting on the stairs and on the ground.  Some are just standing and enjoying the food with their own small talks.

I'm looking forward to another visit to Banchetto Ortigas.  Maybe next month when my schedule at work is again 3pm-12am. :)  Since Banchetto Pioneer is nearer to our place, the husband and I can have some dinner there on Wednesdays or Thursdays!
